In 2006 I started a digital sketchbook to support presentations I was giving on the role of daily creative exercises, wanting my actions to speak for me, I set an original goal of 1221 images, giving myself 3600 seconds a day to create an image I use the land I live in for inspiration.

Flickr complimented this project perfectly with easy upload and the right kind of audience to suit this play. It has become my daily ritual and is instrumental in my understanding that creativity is like any other discipline, needing to be nurtured daily, like practicing your chords it has been a place free of any obligations or defined solutions. Understanding the themes present, I recently reorganized and structured the collection and talk to students about the evolution and commitment that creativity requires.
